Xandra Avedikian

Xandra Avedikian is a Multimedia filmmaker and designer from Minneapolis, Chanhassen,

Minnesota. She currently attends the Minneapolis College of Art and Design pursuing a

major in Filmmaking and minor in Animation, intended to graduate this upcoming fall of

2026. Her work often explores themes of perspective, upliftment, playfulness, child-like

nostalgia, Family, and community. By using a combination of multimedia, video,

photography, and experimental animation, she creates work that infuses a sense of

curiosity, vibrance, and empathy. She is currently is production on her Final Thesis

Project, an Experimental Documentary in Valdez Alaska, about exploration, and

experiencing different life perspectives, set to film this summer and be released by

end of this year.
